Contract service is extremely flexible. It offers an efficient and economical way of expanding an engineering or technical workforce during preliminary engineering, design and construction periods, peak workloads, or when persons with special capabilities are needed for short-term assignments. In the uncertainty of today's economic environment, TPG Oil, Gas & Energy, Inc. contract employees are an employment "bargain", considering overhead expenses such as advertising, recruitment {including interviewing and screening}, vacation bonuses, holiday pay, insurance, Social Security, Workman's Compensation, state unemployment and other on going costs associated with weekly payrolls. It makes good economic sense for a company to pass this cost on. Permanent Services Unlike Contract Services, Permanent employment is recommended when you can identify a long-term project {2 years or more} where it requires captive employment. TPG Oil, Gas & Energy, Inc. has provided Perm services to a number of clients. We offer 2 programs, which our clients can chose from; Contract to Perm offers the client the opportunity to evaluate it's prospective employee without paying an employment fee. We require our employees to be on a 6-month assignment prior to converting to direct employment. During this period TPG Oil, Gas & Energy, Inc. is responsible for all payroll tax and associated payroll costs. Permanent Placement fees are charged by a case-by-case basis. Our fee structure varies based on discipline. TPG Oil, Gas & Energy, Inc. offers fees starting at 10 percent to a maximum of 20 percent of the annual salary. Background checks, reference checks, employment verification, and schooling verification are just part of the services provided. |
